Ghana's under-17 female team are expected to leave for Jordan on Tuesday for the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup which starts Friday September 30.
The traveling crew consists of the 18 players squad, the technical team and management committee members who will all leave Accra Tuesday evening, according to statement released by Ghana Football Association.
The team had camped at the Ghana Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram and also in Cape Coast for some weeks now.
The Black Maidens will be facing Japan, USA and Paraguay in Group D of the competition.
They were reached the quarterfinals at the last edition of the competition, becoming the only African side to have gotten to that level.
MY VIEW
The Black maidens have made Africa and Africans proud in the past, hoping they can repeat such feat in this competition.
Go Black Maidens! ! !
