Ivorian international Yaya Toure has been omitted from Manchester City’s Champions League squad list for the 2016-2017 season.
The midfielder has only played in a game out of five for the Manchester based club this season, which was against fellow Champions contender, Steaua Bucharest in the second leg of the Champions League play off.
Spanish tactician and Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola announced his 21-man Manchester City squad with the 4-time African footballer of the year's name omitted from the list.
There have been serious doubts over the 33-year old's future with the Citizens ever since Guardiola took over as the club's coach this summer.
