Writer/Ed.: Oladayo Juan Joe Bamidele

Leicester City players Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani will start for Algeria in tomorrow’s world Cup qualifier against Nigeria in Uyo according to reports.

Algeria coach Georges Leekens will go for a 4-3-3 formation with Mahrez and FC Porto's Yacine Brahimi in the wing positions and Slimani as the top striker.

Schalke 04's Nabil Bentaleb will lead an offensive midfield that also has Saphi Taider and Carl Medjani as defensive midfielders.

With the defence consisting of Faouzi Ghoulam, Mohamed Ziti on the sides and Hicham Belkaroui and Aissa Mandi as central defenders.

Goalkeeper Rais M’Bolhi, who is a free agent will be the shot stopper.

Likely Algeria line up (4-3-3):
M’Bolhi – Ziti, Ghoulam, Belkaroui, Mandi – Medjani, Taider, Bentaleb – Mahrez, Brahimi, Slimani

WRITER'S OPINION

It's going to be a very interesting game. Perhaps the toughest in the group and African qualifiers.
