Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi is in a way related to club owner, Roman Abramovich.
Mikel John Obi has been reported to have a relationship with the owner of the club that goes beyond player-boss affairs, according to owngoalnigeria.com.
The Nigerian international is Chelsea's current second longest serving player in the club, now in his 11th season with Chelsea.
According to the same source, the veteran player is one of the very few players Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich visit at his personal house.
The mother of Mikel's twin, Olga Diyachenko's father is a childhood friend of the Blues owner.
“Mikel’s relationship with Abramovich is way deeper than most people know. His father inlaw is a childhood friend of Abramovich and whenever he is in London to see Mikel and his daughter, Abramovich usually visit him at Mikel’s house” according to Owngoalnigeria.com.
